Area Description :
Zakynthos is the southernmost island of the ionian group lying to the west of mainland greece and to the east of italy . In all there are six main islands – corfu ( kerkira ), paxi, lefkada, kefalonia, ithaca and zakynthos.We have around two acres of land; the next nearest property is about 350 metres over the ridge of the hill (and completely out of sight). So as you can imagine it's extremely quiet with only the cicadas to break the peace during the day. Access is from a level unmade drive from the single track road above, winding through fields of almond trees, and olive groves, occasional herds of goats and small flocks of sheep (and even turkeys on occasions).
